Islam
Out of all the major religion in the world, Islam is the newest and widely spreaded religion in many continents. It originated in Arabia and Prophet Muhammad founded it. In 622 CE. Follower of Islam are called Muslims. Muslims believe in monotheism that there is only one God. They called their God - "Allah". The name of this religion, Islam, is derived from the Arabic word "salam," which is often interpreted as meaning "peace." However "submission" would be a better translation. Muhammad spread his belief of a Islam after his first revelation. At the age of 63 he died, with Islam spread through out most of Arabia, and within the century reaching as far away as Spain and China.
The word Islam means 'submission to the will of God' Islam rank second in following after christanity. There are 1 billion followers. Islam was revealed over 1400 years ago in Mecca, Arabia. Followers of Islam are called Muslims. According to Muslims, God sent a number of prophets to mankind to teach them how to live according to His law. Even Islam believes that Jesus, Moses and Abraham are respected as prophets of God and the final Prophet was Muhammad. They also believe that Islam has always existed, but for practical purposes, date their religion from the time of the migration of Muhammad. Their holy book the Qu'ran. Theybelieve the Sunnah is the practical example of Prophet Muhammad and that there are five basic Pillars of Islam
These are five duties that every Muslim is obliged to perform. The five pillars of Islam help Muslims put their faith into action.
  • Shahadah: declaration of faith
"I bear witness that there is no god, but God; I bear witness that Muhammad is the prophet of God." By reciting this, one enters Islamic faith.
  • Salah: prayer
Muslims are required to pray five times a day, washing themselves before prayer and facing in the direction of Mecca while praying.
  • Zakat: giving a fixed proportion to charity
Muslims are required to give away a percentage of their earnings to those less fortunate, regardless of their religion.
  • Saum: fasting during the month of Ramadan

Muslims fast for one lunar month each year, a period called Ramadan. During this time, Muslims reflect on their behaviour and strive to purify their thoughts.
  • Hajj: pilgrimage to Mecca
If it is financially possible, Muslims are required to travel to Mecca once in their lifetime.

All muslim people fast in the month of Ramadan for a month from sun rise to sun set. they even can not drink water.
Muslims have 6 main beliefs
  1. Belief in Allah as the one and only God.
  2. Belief in angels.
  3. Belief in the holy books.
  4. Belief in the Prophets (special messengers).
e.g. Adam, Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), Dawud (David), Isa (Jesus).
Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final prophet.
  5. Belief in the Day of Judgement...
The day when the life of every human being will be assessed to decide whether they go to heaven or hell.
  6. Belief in Predestination...
That Allah has already decided what will happen.
Muslims believe that this doesn't stop human beings making free choices

From 1450 to about 1800, the empires of the Savavids, Mughals, and Ottomans emerged to form a dominate society that had great impacts in lands such as India and Turkey. These empires were influenced both culturally and politically by the effects of the Islamic faith. The cultural aspects of these empires, such as architecture and poetry, as well as political aspects, such as the right to rule, were all influenced by Islam.
The world's largest Muslim community is in Indonesia. 18% of muslim poppulation is living in the Arab world. Substantial parts of Asia and most of Africa are Muslim. Significant minorities are found in the Soviet Union, China, North and South America, and Europe.
In Islam they objected the mistreatment and inequality of women. He also treated women and men as two different but complementary types of humans.
In recent times, the Islamic faith and culture has been got bad publicity and criticism worldwide concerning terrorism, fanaticism, and the treatment of women.

Climate Essay
Climate is a very important geographical feature on the Earth. Climate is the meteorological conditions, including temperature, precipitation, and wind, that characteristically prevail in a particular region.
There are millions of planet and stars in the galaxy but till date no other planet have suitable climate like earth where the life exist and flourishing. Climate has ever changing phenomena which results in change in our life over a period. Since its origin the climate of the world is always changed.
Climate is a series of weather patterns which remain for a long period of time. There are two main reasons for change in climate on the Earth. One of them is the tilt of the Earth’s axis and the other is the revolution of Earth around the Sun. The Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees, and because of this different amount of sunlight reaches different areas of the Earth’s Surface as sun moves from tropic of cancer to tropic of Capricorn, this causes different areas to have different temperature. The equator reaches the most light because the sun shines directly. While the sun spreads out in areas North and South of the Equator so warmth can reach all throughout the Earth .The movement of the Earth around the Sun brings different weathers on earth which last for say 3-4 months. When the Earth revolves the Northern and Sothern Hemisphere it gets different amount of Sunlight. An interesting thing is that when the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing summer and the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing winter and vice versa. Same thing goes with spring and fall. During winter and summer in Northern and Southern Hemisphere either the days are shorter than night or vice versa. This period is called solstice. And the period where there are equal duration of days and night is called equinox. Equinox occurs when it’s spring or fall in any of the 2 Hemispheres. Climate is directly responsible for natural condition like desert, grassland, forest, tundra, rainforest etc.
Climate is directly responsible for the way of life for all living things. The different animals and vegetation exist in different climatic conditions. In case of human we use different cloths, food, shelter etc. in different climate. We human have found out the way with the use of scientific inventions to survive in any types of climate.
There are five different climate zone are address under Köppen Climate Classification System. They are based on the annual and monthly averages of temperature and precipitation. They are namely
Moist Tropical Climates - high temperatures year round - large amount of year round rain.
Dry Climates - little rain and a huge daily temperature range. Semiarid or steppe, arid or desert,
Humid Middle Latitude Climates land/water differences play a large part. Warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters.
Continental Climates can be found in the interior regions of large land masses. Total precipitation is not very high and seasonal temperatures vary widely.
Cold Climates describe this climate type perfectly. - Permanent ice and tundra are always present. Four months of the year have above freezing temperatures.
Three basic climate groups are:

Low-latitude Climates: These climates are controlled by equatorial a tropical air masses.
Mid-latitude Climates: Climates in this zone are affected by two different air-masses. The tropical air-masses are moving towards the poles and the polar air-masses are moving towards the equator
High-latitude climates: Polar and arctic air masses dominate these regions.

Disasters such as hurricanes, tornado, cyclones, floods, landslides, droughts are all extremes cause by climate where many lives’ can be lost or a lot of property can be damaged. World climate is ever changing However after the industrial revolution and too much use of fossil fuel world temperature is rising and which results in melting of ice on poles, rising of sea levels, frequent cyclones, tornados and hurricanes, change in weather pattern brought serious damages in mother earth which has given the name “ Green House Effect” by the scientist. If we do not use our resources wisely there is all chance that our and other living things existence will be endangered.
